Q: Why did Schwartz Brothers Restaurants change its rewards program?
A: Schwartz Brothers Restaurants wanted to move away from requiring members to register a credit card. We take privacy and security very seriously and issuing the new Schwartz Brothers Platinum Card will help ensure that for our valued members.
Q: When did the program change?
A: We notified all members by email in September 2008 about our new program, which started November 1, 2008. All current members were transferred to the new program. We could not move transaction history, so records of visits in the old program were not carried over to the new program.
Q: What changed from the previous Frequent Diner program to the Platinum Rewards program?
A: The following is a list of significant changes that were made to our redesigned Platinum Rewards Program as of November 1, 2008.
- Points are awarded for the subtotal of the bill. This includes credit cards, cash, and gift cards. Points will not be awarded for tax and tip.
- Points are not awarded on the purchase of gift cards.
- Effective January 1, 2009 the redemption rewards will change and 2,000 rewards points can be redeemed for either a $100 Schwartz Brothers Restaurants gift card or the equivalent value from one of our featured partners. Those include Gene Juarez Salons & Spas, Ben Bridge Jeweler, David Lawrence designer fashions for men and women, and more. Members have until December 31, 2008 to redeem 350 rewards points for a $25 Schwartz Brothers Restaurants gift card or 5,000 rewards points for a $350 Schwartz Brothers Restaurants gift card.
- Points will be tracked through your Platinum Rewards or Epicurean card. Please present the card to the server along with your form of payment. Credit cards are no longer registered within our system.
Q: What happened to my new enrollment or my points when the program changed?
A: All member information has been captured and is being updated. Please be patient while we continue to update our database.
Q: What if I haven't received my card?
A: Contact us at rewards@schwartzbros.com and we'll make sure you get your new Platinum card. Please allow 7-10 business days to receive your new or replacement card.
Q: What if I forget my card when dining?
A: We have a form at all of our restaurants which, when completed, makes it possible to capture your points for your visit. Just inform your server and they will provide you with a form to fill out your name and guest check information for that visit. This will be forwarded to our corporate office and entered in your profile. Your points will appear in 7-10 business days.
Q: How do I redeem my points and when can I expect to receive them?
A: Points can be redeemed online. Visit us at schwartzbros.com and click the 'Rewards Program' tab. Click on the 'Access My Account' link. A popup box will appear prompting you to enter your Username and Password. If it's your first time logging into your account, follow the instructions on the letter that was sent with your membership card. Once inside your account, click the 'Redemption' tab. 'Available Points' will be listed, along with redemption rewards that these points qualify for. If you wish to continue, click the 'Redeem Points' tab at the bottom of the screen. If you do not have enough points, the system will not allow you to continue. Gift cards will be sent to the address listed in your Customer Profile. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your gift cards to arrive, longer if you live out of state.
Q: Can I change my username and/or password?
A: Yes. When logging into your Platinum Rewards account for the first time, you will need to use the number on your membership card as the username. The password is the first 4 digits of your birthday (month and day). The 'Customer Profile' tab will take you to all of your personal information where you can update addresses, email addresses, etc., as well as change your username and password. If you make any edits on that page, click the 'Update Profile' tab to save the changes. If you changed the username or password, those will need to be used for the next login.
Q: What if I forget my password?
A: Contact us at rewards@schwartzbros.com and let us know that you have forgotten your password. A temporary password will be assigned to your account. Once you login with that temporary password, you will be able to change your password.
Q: What is the difference between Platinum and Epicurean Club Members?
A. Epicurean Club Members have earned a spot in an exclusive group by being in the top 10% of spenders in our Frequent Diner Rewards Program. Epicurean Club Members receive additional benefits and rewards.
