Daniel’s Broiler Spices Up Nightlife at Leschi Marina
25 Years of Prime Service to Seattleites
Bellevue, Wash. — Schwartz Brothers Restaurants, the region’s award-winning multi-concept restaurant and catering company celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, announces that Daniel’s Broiler Prime Steaks and Chops at Leschi Marina in Seattle is being renovated and having new elements added to its rich tradition of entertaining guests with the best in USDA prime steaks, wine, spirits, music and ambience of luxury lakefront dining. The restaurant’s transformation is scheduled for completion November 25, the day after Thanksgiving.
Over and above freshening its décor, Daniel’s at Leschi Marina will have its dining room re-appointed, incorporating inviting new curved booths and intimate tables. For those wishing to socialize, a lounge area has been carved out to be visually distinct from the dining room and furnished with a uniquely American antique Farrand piano. A bar menu, newly introduced, will feature appetizers, light meals and other Daniel’s favorites.
“We’re adding a mix of live entertainment and a late night happy hour to give locals a place to spend time in the evening close to home,” said Lindsey Schwartz, president and CEO of Schwartz Brothers Restaurants. Unlike Daniel’s on Lake Union and Daniel’s at Bellevue Place, both bustling destination restaurants, Daniel’s at Leschi Marina is a smaller, more personal place—a local spot for residents in the Madison Park, Madrona, Leschi, and Mount Baker neighborhoods to call their own. Even so, the Leschi location has a reputation for drawing people from around the region for dining, dating, marriage proposals, anniversaries, and other celebrations. Many travel to this Lake Washington hideaway for its views of sailboats, Bellevue lakefront homes and cityscape, and Mount Rainier.
Now, the restaurant’s soft, romantic ambience is being fine-tuned with even more accent lighting and all new filtered skylights that will wash the dining spaces in natural light. Moreover, the windows in the upstairs private dining room overlooking the lake are being fitted to slide partially and fully open. The new lounge area will feature an antique Farrand upright piano crafted in the style of Stickley furniture. The new décor complements the existing dark wood finishes, onyx tables, vaulted ceilings, and copper chandeliers, all of which remain from the original.
Located at 200 Lake Washington Blvd. along the tree-lined western shores of Lake Washington in Seattle, Daniel’s at Leschi Marina was established in 1980, and is the first of the three Daniel’s Broiler Prime Steaks and Chops.
