Early Spring News From Schwartz Brothers Restaurants: Daniel's Vintage Lounge Wine Bar Open For Business in Bellevue

Bellevue, Wash. - In response to the no-smoking ban, plans have been underway over the last few months to convert Havana Dan’s cigar lounge at Daniel's Bellevue Place into a signature wine bar. The Vintage Lounge wine bar officially opened for business this week. It is the latest addition to the critically acclaimed Daniel’s Broiler located on the 21st floor of the Bank of America building at Bellevue Place. This plush setting, with stunning views includes comfortable, contemporary furniture, a fireplace and high definition television. Vintage Lounge showcases some of world’s top rated varietals from Daniel's extensive 900 bottle wine list, which has been honored with the Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator for the last 5 years.

At the heart of the Vintage Lounge is a state of the art, custom built Cruvinet. This system has been recognized around the world as the best preservation and dispensing system made. It allows the Vintage Lounge to serve a selection of wines by the glass not found anywhere in the greater Puget Sound area. The 30 “Cruvinet Selections” are all wines that have been rated 90 points or higher by Wine Spectator, Robert Parker and Wine Enthusiast. The “Cruvinet Selections” are both domestic and imported and are diverse in style, varietal type, and vintage. These wines are served in Reidel stemware.

As an enhancement to the Daniel’s Broiler world-class steakhouse menu, Vintage Lounge offers a distinctive appetizer menu created by Schwartz Brothers Restaurants Executive Chef Brad Dickinson. Menu selections include artisan cheeses, foie gras and handcrafted chocolates to name a few. As an additional accompaniment, there are selections of rare and aged spirits from around the world. A sampling of these spirits include: Remy Martin “Louis VIII” Cognac, The MaCallan “Republica 1861” Scotch and Middleton Rare Irish Whiskey.

Vintage Lounge is open to the public 7 nights a week. Membership in the Vintage Lounge Wine Club provides an opportunity for the true wine enthusiast to enjoy once in a lifetime opportunities to meet and mingle with some of the most prominent names in the industry. Vintage Lounge Wine Club members will also receive exclusive invitations to monthly winery events, wine tastings, dinners and release parties throughout the year.
