Former Daniel's Broiler Bellevue Executive Chef Mike Hillyer returns home to Schwartz Brothers Restaurants

BELLEVUE, Wash - After a brief stint at a national restaurant company, Executive Chef Mike Hillyer returns to Schwartz Brothers Restaurants where he will be Executive Chef at Daniel's Lake Union "I made the decision to go work for a big national restaurant chain and soon realized that I missed the family atmosphere and autonomy that Schwartz Brothers Restaurants gave me. I'm very excited to return to Schwartz Brothers Restaurants again and can't think of a better company to work for." states Mike Hillyer, Executive Chef at Daniel's Broiler Lake Union.
Chef Hillyer started with Schwartz Brothers Restaurants in July of 1996 as Chef at Benjamin's on Lake Union and then went on to become the opening Chef at Daniel's Broiler on Lake Union in September of 1999. Mike then moved over to become Executive Chef at Daniel's Broiler Bellevue Place, supervising kitchen operations at one of the top 100 grossing independent restaurants in the United States. Daniel's Broiler continues to garner accolades from both local and national media as a great steakhouse.
