Outdoor Dining at Schwartz Brothers Restaurants
Summer is upon us and that means the patios have opened up at all of your favorite Schwartz Brothers Restaurants! Enjoy outdoor dining at its best at Daniel's Broiler on Lake Union and at Leschi Marina, Chandler's Crabhouse, Spazzo Italian Grill & Wine Bar and Revolution Bar & Grill.
Perhaps one of the best views of Lake Union comes from the patio at Daniel's Broiler on Fairview Avenue. The menu is available on both sides of the deck and Happy Hour is available from 3:30 pm until 6:30 pm on the bar-side only. Lunch is served from 11:30 am until 2:30 pm, while dinner is served from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday.
Two equally spectacular views come from the decks of Chandler's Crabhouse, which is open daily for lunch from 11:00 to 3:00 pm and for dinner from 4:00 to 10:00 pm. The full menu is available. Enjoy Happy Hour on the patio adjacent to the lounge from 3:30 until 6:30 pm.
Daniel's Broiler at Leschi Marina sits on the west shore of Lake Washington and its deck offers a perfect view of the lake and Mount Rainier. Enjoy the view, weather and service from 4:30 pm to 11:00 pm Sunday through Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday.
Spazzo Italian Grill & Wine Bar is located on the upper level of Redmond Town Center. The large patio is a great place to sit and enjoy a meal and to choose from over 300 bottles of wine and over 60 wines by the glass from Woodinville, Washington State and Italy.
Revolution Bar & Grill offers outdoor seating daily from 11:30 to 8:30 pm. The entire menu is available on the patio, including over 50 beers on tap, including the limited-time offering Monorail Ale by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.

New Menu at Gretchen's Shoebox Express
Gretchen's Shoebox Express has been operating for 12 years and recently moved into a larger, state-of-the-art facility to accommodate our growing business. Our new home is located on 6th Avenue South in Seattle, and features a 30,000 square-foot, fully-refrigerated production kitchen where our sandwiches, salads and platters are prepared, packaged and then delivered at 40° (or below) to maintain the freshness and safety of our product.
Along with our new building, Gretchen's Shoebox Express launched our Spring/Summer Menu with new, seasonal offerings to complement our current tasty platters, sandwiches, salads and desserts. The Signature Cheese Tray features assorted imported and domestic specialty cheeses and a delicious assortment of accompaniments. The Tuscan Trattoria Platter is now offered in a smaller size, as well as the original larger size, which serves 15-20 people. This platter features seasonal, fresh grilled vegetables, along with meats and cheeses and is served with a variety of specialty breads.
New, mouth-watering salads are available just in time for summer! The Picnic Potato Salad is made just the way Gretchen Mathers herself used to make it for all of her cafes. It has baby red potatoes, celery, eggs and chopped dill pickles in a mayonnaise-mustard dressing. The Mediterranean Chicken Salad Express includes roasted chicken breast, feta, Kalamata olives, cucumbers, tomatoes and red onions on a bed of chopped Romaine with lemon-oregano dressing. The Roasted Veggie Pasta Salad Express includes balsamic-marinated and roasted vegetables tossed with campanelle on a bed of mixed greens with lemon-oregano dressing.
If you feel like a sandwich, new offerings include the Tuscany Ciabatta Express and Vietnamese Baguette Express. The Tuscany Ciabatta has thinly-sliced Genoa and dry wine salami, fresh basil leaves and herbed cream cheese on a Ciabatta roll. The Vietnamese Baguette has oven-roasted chicken, marinated carrots and daikon, along with cucumber, jalapeno peppers and cilantro served on a baguette.
We have something for anyone with a sweet tooth. The Decadent Dessert Platter features nine Tarts including brown-butter almond, lemon, and seasonal fruit. Gretchen's Dessert Bars are a combination of rich chocolate brownies, lemon squares and fresh, seasonal fruit bars. They are large enough to share, but who would want to?

Complimentary Valet Parking During Lunch at Daniel's Broiler Bellevue Place
The expansion construction of the Hyatt Hotel has caused parking shortages at Bellevue Place, especially for Daniel's Broiler lunch patrons. In order to assist our customers, Schwartz Brothers Restaurants has been working with Kemper Development on temporary solutions to ensure that our guests' needs are met until construction is completed in November 2008.
Daniel's Broiler is pleased to offer complimentary valet parking for our lunch guests! This service is in addition to our current validation program for self-parking guests. Additionally, over 75 three-hour parking spots have been added to Levels P-1 and P-3 in the Bellevue Place Garage. After 10:00 a.m. open spaces with "Car Pool" written on them will also convert to three-hour parking stalls.
So the next time lunch time hits, make your way over to Daniel's Broiler in Bellevue Place for a juicy, USDA Prime steak and world-class service.

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Launches Monorail Ale at Revolution Bar & Grill
Visit Revolution Bar & Grill on June 23rd and expect a real treat. Sierra Nevada Brewery Co. will be launching a new beer designed in honor of the Seattle Center Monorail, the nation's first, full-scale commercial monorail system. The Monorail has been testing the rebuilt Blue Car, which will be in service sometime in mid-July. In order to get the required amount of weight, the Monorail has been using new Sierra Nevada kegs filled with water. When testing is completed, a forklift will be used to transfer the 6,758 gallons of water from the kegs into the Science Center Fountains. It's necessary that only clean, purified water can go into the fountains since animal life is very prevalent in and around the fountains.
In honor of its affiliation with the Seattle Center Monorail, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is creating a special, limited-offering beer called Monorail Ale. Only about 125 kegs will be made and distributed to establishments throughout Seattle, especially along the Monorail's route. Since the Monorail runs through the Experience Music Project, what better place to launch the offering than EMP's Revolution Bar & Grill? The entire Monorail crew, the Sales team, Wholesalers, and Retailers are coming by invitation only. However, Revolution will be open to the public, so come in for Happy Hour and/or dinner and see what all the commotion is about.
