Daniel's Catering is now the exclusive caterer at the Seattle Design Center and the Columbia Winery!

The Seattle Design Center, located just 10 minutes from Downtown Seattle, is a sophisticated and elegant setting for both private and corporate events. Events may take place in any of the three unique spaces (or a combination of the three), making the Seattle Design Center perfect for any type of event and/or special occasion.

Each of the Seattle Design Center's spaces feature one-of-a-kind amenities:

• The Atrium - The recently remodeled Atrium offers an open design with ample natural light, tile floors and a formal staircase that leads to a spectacular balcony where guests can view the expansive Atrium. It's ideal for weddings and silent auctions. The Atrium can seat up to 600 guests or accommodate a reception up to 700 guests.
  
  
• The Plaza - The Plaza features traditional Seattle architecture and custom finishing, along with a semi-circular stage and fountains. It's connected to the Atrium's second floor by a decorative sky bridge. Large events can utilize the Plaza and the Atrium together. The Plaza by itself is a more intimate setting for romantic wedding ceremonies, holiday dinners, corporate meetings, or other formal events. The Plaza can seat up to 150 guests or accommodate a reception up to 250 guests.
  
  
• Conference Center - The Conference Center is located on the third floor of the Plaza building. It's an ideal space for corporate presentations, networking events and cocktail parties. It features an elevated stage for speakers, audio/visual capability, dimmable lights and is even suitable for daytime team-building events and corporate planning meetings.
  
  

The Daniel's Catering Sales Team will handle all details, from managing the rental of the Design Center space, to coordinating all catering components such as food, beverage, and rental items/equipment and staffing. Parking at the Seattle Design Center is free and wireless Internet is available upon request.

Daniel's Catering is also the exclusive caterer for the Columbia Winery, located in scenic Woodinville, Washington. The Winery offers a wide selection of rooms to fit your wedding, personal or work function perfectly. Daniel's Catering can provide any rental/décor items that the hosting party needs. Parking at the Columbia Winery is free and audio/visual equipment can be rented for an additional cost.

• The Milestone Room - The Milestone Room is the west half of the Columbia Room and features a gas fireplace and access to an outdoor patio. The seating can be arranged classroom-style, theatre style, or round tables. The Milestone Room can seat up to 75 guests and accommodate a reception for up to 90 guests.
  
  
• The Cellarmaster Room - The Cellarmaster Room is the east half of the Columbia Room . It features a gas fireplace and has similar seating choices and capacities as the Milestone Room.
  
  
• The Woodburne Room - The Woodburne Room is a more intimate space featuring a gas fireplace, plenty of natural light and chandeliers. The Woodburne Room can seat up to 24 guests and accommodate a reception for up to 30 guests.

Steak and Crabfest is going on now at Chandler's Crabhouse! Until November 26th Chandler's will be featuring USDA Prime and Kobe-style Wagyu Steaks, along with fresh Northwest Alaskan King and Dungeness crab.

Chandler's Crabhouse is featuring the world's finest steak and crab entrees. Chandler's is one of only a select number of restaurants offering Kobe-style Wagyu Steak, which has a higher level of fat marbling and omega-3 and 6 fatty acids than regular beef.

USDA Prime Filet Mignon and King Crab at Chandler's Crabhouse

Rock Crab Pasta at Chandler's Crabhouse

Serves 4

Ingredients:

• Crab meat, 2 oz.
• Fresh beets, 3 oz.
• Chanterelle mushrooms, ½ lbs.
• Swiss chard, 1 bunch
• Chopped garlic, 1 oz.
• Olive oil, 2 oz.
• Heavy cream, 2 cups
• Pappardelle pasta, 1 - 12 oz. package

Method:

Clean and slice beets, mushrooms and Swiss chard

Roast beets for 10-15 minutes in the oven.

Sauté garlic in olive oil. Add beets, mushrooms, Swiss chard, and cream.

Sprinkle in a pinch of salt and pepper.

Cook Pappardelle pasta in boiling water for 6-8 minutes (or until al dente).

In a separate pan, melt butter and add crab meat and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Drain pasta and add to sautéed garlic, mushrooms, beets, Swiss chard and heavy cream. Lightly toss.

Serve pasta in a bowl plate and add crab to the top.

Ingredients:

• 5 oz. Coffee
• 2 oz. Butterscotch liqueur
• ½ oz. Chandler's Cream (2 oz. ice cream and 1 oz. half-n-half)

Method:

Combine coffee, Butterscotch liqueur and Chandler's Cream in a mug. Top with whipped cream and a cinnamon stick.

All Wines by the Glass are half price (Spazzo features over 60 wines that are poured by the glass), Draft Beer and Sangria (a Spazzo favorite) are $3.50 and all Specialty Drinks are $5.95. Although the food specials are only offered after 9pm, the drink specials run seven days a week from 3:00-6:00pm and from 9:00pm-close. That's something to get excited about!
