From May 11th thru June 21st we've selected a group of wines from the best Wineries in the State and created THREE COURSE PRIX FIXE MENUS unique to the style of each World Class concept. Our Three Course menus are specially created and priced for each style of restaurant.
Our goal is to offer our guests a true value without having to compromise their dining experience. We will feature 20 offerings from this impressive list of Washington Wineries at pricing that will allow everyone to enjoy and experiment.

Outdoor Dining at Schwartz Brothers Restaurants
Summer is upon us and that means the patios have opened up at all of your favorite Schwartz Brothers Restaurants! Enjoy outdoor dining at its best at Daniel's Broiler on Lake Union and at Leschi Marina, Chandler's Crabhouse and Spazzo Italian Grill & Wine Bar.
Perhaps one of the best views of Lake Union comes from the patio at Daniel's Broiler on Fairview Avenue. The menu is available on both sides of the deck and Happy Hour is available from 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm on the bar-side only. Dinner is served from 4pm until 10:00 pm on Sunday, from 5:00pm until 10:00pm Monday through Thursday and 5pm until 11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday.
Two equally spectacular views come from the decks of Chandler's Crabhouse, which is open daily for lunch from 11:30 to 2:30 pm and for dinner from 5:00 to 10:00pm. The full menu is available. Enjoy Happy Hour on the patio adjacent to the lounge from 3:00 until 6:00 pm and 9pm to close nightly.
Daniel's Broiler at Leschi Marina sits on the west shore of Lake Washington and its deck offers a perfect view of the lake and Mount Rainier. Enjoy the view, weather and service from 4:30 pm to 11:00 pm Sunday through Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday.
Spazzo Italian Grill & Wine Bar is located on the upper level of Redmond Town Center. The large patio is a great place to sit and enjoy a meal and to choose from over 300 bottles of wine and over 60 wines by the glass from Woodinville, Washington State and Italy.

New Menu at Gretchen's Shoebox Express!
Gretchen's Shoebox Express just launched our Spring/Summer Menu with new, seasonal offerings to compliment our current tasty platters, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. The Signature Cheese Tray features assorted imported and domestic specialty cheeses and a delicious assortment of accompaniments. The Hye Roller Pinwheel Platter is a new addition to the menu and includes an assortment of pesto turkey with cranberry, roast beef and scallion cream cheese, and veggie; all rolled, sliced and ready to eat!
New, mouth-watering salads are available just in time for summer! The Curried Chicken Salad Express is sure to please. It includes curried chicken made with celery, almonds, cranberries, cilantro and green onions served on freshly cut fruit and Romaine lettuce. The Pasta Primavera Salad is made with Raditore pasta, shredded carrots, zucchini, yellow squash and asparagus and served with a side of citrus tarragon dressing. The Insalata Bella Salad Express includes shaved fennel, Ovalini mozzarella, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, basil and served on a bed of Romaine.
If you feel like a sandwich, new offerings include the Chicken Teriyaki Baguette Express and the Gretchen's Homestyle Turkey Express. The Chicken Teriyaki Baguette Express has teriyaki-marinated chicken breast, roasted pineapple, mayo, lettuce and tomato on Schwartz Brothers Bakery freshly baked foccacia bread. Gretchen's Homestyle Turkey Express has garlic sage mayo, fresh oven-roasted turkey, lettuce and tomato on Grand Central Bakery Campagnola bread.
For anyone with a sweet tooth, then we have something for you!. The Gretchen's Dessert Bars are a combination of rich chocolate brownies, lemon squares, and seasonal, fresh fruit bars. They can be shared or eaten by yourself!
Whether you want a platter, a sandwich or salad, dessert, or all of the above, Gretchen's Shoebox Express has you covered!

Learn How to Make Jalapeno Pesto served at Spazzo Italian Grill & Wine Bar
Recipe for the Jalapeno Pesto at Spazzo Italian Grill & Wine Bar
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 12 jalapenos seeded, deribbed and chopped
- ½ cup slivered almonds toasted
- 1 red onion
- 2 Tbsp. Italian parsley washed and chopped
- 1 tsp. lemon zest
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- Kosher salt to taste
This recipe can be made well in advance and kept refrigerated for up to 3 days. It is a great sauce idea for grilled fish and meats.
Method:
Simply chop everything up and put the ingredients into a food processor or blender. Then, with the machine running pour in the oil until you obtain the desired consistency. Check the seasoning and store until ready for service.

The Daniel's Broiler Signature Martini
History of the Martini
The accepted history of the martini dates back to 1862 and was created by a Bartender in Martinez, California. The original martini was actually called a Martinez named after the town it was created in. It consisted of four parts red, sweet vermouth to one part gin and was garnished with a cherry.
Today the most popular martini is made with three ounces of gin or vodka and a splash of vermouth. Our style, service and view make Daniel's the perfect place to enjoy a "Classic Martini". Whether you're on the 21st floor in Bellevue or enjoying the view from the shores of Lake Union or Lake Washington, Daniel's is the place to be.
Recipe for the Daniel's Signature Martini
- 3 oz. Tanqueray Ten Gin or Level Vodka
- Splash of Dry Vermouth
Method:
Combine ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake for 30 seconds and strain in a chilled Martini glass. Garnish with three olives or a lemon curl.
Sip and Enjoy!
